🎬 We were thrilled to team up with Fort Worth Film Club again to present a free screening of the refreshingly unique and hilariously absurd film, “Bottoms” (@bottomsmovie).
This collaboration was in honor of Women's Herstory Month, celebrating the contributions and stories of women throughout history. Last year, we screened the classic movie 9 to 5, featuring Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.
Bottoms follows the journey of two lonely lesbians in their senior year of high school, determined to shed their virginity before college. Their unconventional plan? Starting a self-defense club as a cover to mingle with the popular crowd.
Bottoms was written and directed by Emma Seligman
The movie was shot mostly in an abandoned elementary school in New Orleans.
Actor Elizabeth Banks is one of the producers that made the movie possible.
Kaia Gerber, “Brittany” is Cindy Crawford's daughter.
